Job Description:
A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator to serve as the
central access point for referring providers and assist in patient
care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate timely and efficient referrals and follow-up with
patients
Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate referral
authorizations
Conduct outreach efforts with referring providers to provide status
updates
Required Qualifications
Relevant work experience: 3 years
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience with patient scheduling and customer service
Knowledge of insurance processes and eligibility verification
Ability to mentor and assist new staff
